PKA began with a simple idea: childhood should feel like discovery. Preschool should be a place where children have time to explore, imagine, ask questions, build friendships, and grow in their own way.
At PKA, children’s interests help guide their experience. Our teachers get to know each child well, paying attention to their questions, ideas, conversations, and the things that capture their curiosity. Those interests help shape meaningful opportunities for children to explore and learn.
More than two decades later, PKA is still intentionally small, warm, and deeply connected to the families we serve. Across our Park Slope and Prospect Heights locations, we’re proud to have been part of so many Brooklyn childhoods—and excited to welcome the next ones.
